GLASGOW, Scotland — Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) concluded a fiery final press conference today ahead of Saturday’s historic BKFC-96 Glasgow, with tension boiling over in front of an international media contingent.
With more than 9,000 tickets already claimed, the world’s fastest-growing combat sports promotion expects an electric, capacity crowd of 10,000 bare-knuckle enthusiasts inside Glasgow's iconic OVO Hydro on Saturday, November 7.
BKFC Founder and President David Feldman hosted Thursday’s proceedings, praising the local fight culture and the electric atmosphere building in the Scottish combat sports capital.
“They say Glasgow is one of the hardest cities in the world and, judging by the fans and the fighters we have on Saturday night, I can see what they’re talking about!” Feldman said. “Bare knuckle was made for Glasgow and Glasgow was made for bare knuckle. I can’t wait for Saturday night.”

Home Turf Pride Meets Championship Stakes

Headlining Saturday's card is an explosive showdown for the BKFC UK Light Heavyweight Title between Scotland’s own undefeated standout, Sean “The Butcher” Weir (3-0), and Manchester’s battle-tested slugger, Leigh “The Boom” Cohoon (4-1).
Both men pulled no punches when addressing each other on the dais.
“It’s going to be good, it’s going to be violent, and I’m coming for that Championship,” Weir stated bluntly. “It’ll be a first-round knockout.”
Cohoon countered with cold resolve, unfazed by the hostile reception awaiting him in Scotland:
“This is the chance of a lifetime. If anyone can pull off the impossible, it’s me. I’m ready to go, man. Let’s go!” Cohoon said. “Blood, action, and plenty of violence. I respect Sean, he's a big, powerful man. But he's just a human being. Anything can happen in a fight; it's there for the taking. I'm unfazed by this. Let's [expletive] go.”

High-Voltage Co-Feature & Heavyweight Firepower

In the co-featured middleweight attraction, Scottish MMA icon and former UFC veteran Stevie “Braveheart” Raymakes his anticipated transition into the squared circle against proven BKFC brawler Danny “The Bastard” Christie(5-3) of Carlisle.
Ray made his aggressive intentions clear right out of the gate:
“I had my last MMA event here a couple years ago. I wasn’t sure if I was done, and this is what is meant to be. BKFC came here and it made sense for me to make my debut,” Ray explained. “From the minute the bell goes, I’m coming to knock him out.”
Christie fired back with razor-sharp vitriol:
“I’m going to take him to bare knuckle school, simple as that. I’m sick of the hype, I’m sick of the talk,” said Christie. “The public seems to think I’m going to get beat, and I can’t wait to get out there and smash him to bits. You’re a crotch-sniffer, mate; that’s who you are. I’m going to annihilate you.”
The main card also spotlights heavyweight chaos as former MMA standout and WWE personality Gzim “The Albanian Psycho” Selmani (1-0) squares off against the UK’s Reece “Big Beefer” Heer (1-1).
“I’m very excited to be a part of this organization; I believe it will be the biggest combat sports organization over the next couple years,” said Selmani. “I’ve been around the combat scene for a long time. At the end of the day, I don’t care where I am or who I’m fighting. I’m excited to smash this guy’s head on Saturday, and that’s exactly what I’m going to do.”
Heer kept his response short and menacing:
“We’re going to [expletive] fight and that’s how it’s going to be. I don’t have any more words for it.”
