The Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli is North America's longest-running professional road racing series. Created by the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) at the dawn of the pony car era, Trans Am features aggressive machines, massive V8 engine roars, and wheel-to-wheel competition across North America’s most iconic road courses and street circuits.
Unlike endurance racing with long pit stops and driver changes, every Trans Am event is a 100-mile sprint race. It’s pure, flat-out racing from green flag to checkered flag where electronic driver aids are strictly limited—putting full control back into the hands of the drivers.
