The Jason Candle Era

Jason Candle took over as the 33rd head football coach in UConn history after signing a six-year deal through the 2031 season. Candle joined the Huskies following a highly successful 10-year run as the head coach at Toledo, where he became the winningest coach in Rocket history with 81 victories, captured two Mid-American Conference (MAC) championships, and earned two MAC Coach of the Year honors.
Known for his high-powered offenses, elite recruiting, and player development, Candle brings a strong background of success to Storrs:
