PHILADELPHIA, PA — Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) is taking its brand of high-octane combat from the canvas to the computer screen. The rapidly growing combat sports promotion announced an official partnership with independent developer Thiefcatcher Games today, tying directly into the upcoming release of Blood & Canvas: Bareknuckle Boxing.
The PC title is scheduled to launch worldwide on November 4, marking BKFC’s first major venture into interactive digital entertainment.
Under the initial rollout, players will see BKFC branding integrated into the game's central training facility. As aspiring digital fighters progress through career mode and earn purses to upgrade their training quarters, they will unlock official BKFC banners to line the gym walls. In a move that blends real-world sport with virtual progression, players can also use in-game screens to watch curated, full-length BKFC bouts while prepping for their next contest.
The collaboration will expand significantly post-launch. Thiefcatcher Games confirmed that the title's first major content update will introduce fully playable BKFC roster athletes, allowing gamers to compete as and against real combatants inside the promotion's signature circular ring, the "Squared Circle."
"We’re excited to collaborate with Thiefcatcher Games on this unique opportunity," said David Feldman, Founder and President of BKFC. "This partnership will further integrate and grow our rapidly ascending fan base who have a passion for our sport."
For Thiefcatcher Games, partnering with the world’s preeminent bare-knuckle promotion provides immediate authenticity for an ambitious project aimed at combat sports purists.
"We have a lot of respect for what BKFC has built and for the fighters who step into its ring," said Michael Aiger of Thiefcatcher Games. "Blood & Canvas is rooted in our love of bare-knuckle boxing. Being able to watch real BKFC fights in the gym gives players another way to feel connected to the sport as they build their own fighter’s legacy. This is just the beginning of our partnership, and we’re excited to bring even more BKFC content and action to the fans."
Blood & Canvas: Bareknuckle Boxing will be available on PC starting November 4, with details on the first BKFC roster update expected in the coming months.
