Massive 56-City North American Trek Begins Nov. 19 with Dual Touring Ensembles, High-Tech Pyrotechnics, and Expanded Low-Priced Ticket Tiers
NEW YORK — Progressive rock titan Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) announced Wednesday its landmark 2026 winter tour, marking the group’s 30th anniversary with a reimagined, multi-million dollar production of its treasured rock theater tale, “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve”.
The multi-generational holiday tradition will cross 56 cities across North America during November and December, delivering the band’s signature blend of symphonic metal, over-the-top lasers, and arena-filling pyrotechnics.
To execute the ambitious schedule—which often includes two separate arena performances in different parts of the country on the same day—TSO will once again split into two full simultaneous touring troupes (Eastern and Western ensembles).
Both touring companies officially launch the run on Nov. 19, with the Western troupe opening in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and the Eastern troupe kicking off in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The tour concludes Dec. 30 with dual final performances in St. Louis, Missouri, and Buffalo, New York.
"Reaching 30 years as a touring force is a tribute to our founder, the late Paul O'Neill, and to the millions of fans who have made TSO a part of their family tradition," TSO management said in a statement. "For this milestone year, we've updated the visual storytelling, refreshed the staging, and expanded our accessible seating tiers to ensure families can continue to enjoy this experience together."
The show features a full presentation of "The Ghosts of Christmas Eve," followed by a high-energy second set highlighting the group's greatest hits and rock-opera classics from across its three-decade discography.
