MANSFIELD, CT — Following a breakout run across major Northeastern hubs, the DIY independent music phenomenon Local Mojo is bringing its signature Woodstock-inspired festival experience to Connecticut. The inaugural Mojo Connecticut Music Festival will take place on Saturday, October 17, marking the movement's final major outdoor festival of the year.

From Dorm Room DIY to Regional Phenomenon

Local Mojo was founded by college friends set on providing a genuinely non-commercial platform for emerging artists.What began as backyard shows built with pallet stages and basement DJ pop-ups in Amherst quickly transformed into a multi-city movement spanning Boston, State College, Boulder, and beyond.
By organizing large-scale DIY events centered around community, local bands, and indie culture, Mojo has drawn thousands of fans in spite of adverse weather conditions—proving that young, independent organizers can build massive audiences without corporate sponsorship backing.
