Partnering with Local Schools: The "Friday Night Lights" Initiative
In a unique blend of community outreach and concert promotion, Green is partnering with local high schools across every stop on the tour to bring his personal connection to "Friday Night Lights" directly to the fans. Before breaking out as a country star, Green was a high school football athlete and quarterback at Jacksonville State University—a background that heavily inspires the initiative.
Participating high schools are creating custom local tour announcements featuring student-led content, marching band performances, pep rallies with choreographed cheer and dance routines, Riley-inspired banners, and original artwork.
To give back, Green will donate $1 from every ticket sold directly to participating schools to support local student programs. The remaining $2 of ticket proceeds will go toward the Buford Bonds Charitable Fund.
New Album & Breakout Success
The tour announcement arrives on the heels of Green’s critically acclaimed fourth studio album, That’s Just Me, which has drawn high praise from The New York Times, Billboard, and other top publications.
The 19-track album highlights Green’s signature plainspoken storytelling across five solo-written tracks. Its standout single, "My Way," debuted on CBS's Marshals and was recently showcased with live performances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and the TODAY Show’s Summer Concert Series. The record delves into themes of fleeting love, lingering heartbreak, beachside escapism, and country pride.
