SUMMARY:2026 Wasabi Fenway Bowl
DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Wasabi Fenway Bowl is scheduled to take place on Saturday\, December 26\, 2026\, bringing postseason college football back to one of baseball’s most historic cathedrals\, Fenway Park in Boston\, Massachusetts.\n\nEvent Overview and Kickoff\nPart of the 2026–27 NCAA bowl schedule\, the fifth edition of the game will kick off at 2:00 p.m. EST and broadcast nationally on ESPN. Organized in partnership with ESPN Events and Fenway Sports Group\, the game continues its title sponsorship with Boston-based cloud storage company Wasabi Technologies.\n\n\n\nDetail\nInformation\n\n\n\n\nDate\nSaturday\, December 26\, 2026\n\n\nKickoff\n2:00 PM EST\n\n\nLocation\nFenway Park — Boston\, MA\n\n\nTelevision\nESPN\n\n\nTie-ins\nAtlantic Coast Conference (ACC) vs. American Athletic Conference (AAC)\n\n\n\nThe Setting and Unique Logistics\nTransforming a century-old baseball diamond into a standard 100-yard football gridiron presents an unconventional dynamic. The field runs along the third-base line toward right field\, positioning one end zone in front of Fenway’s famous Green Monster. Due to the stadium’s asymmetric footprint\, both team sidelines are traditionally situated along the same side of the field—facing the outfield wall—to keep players and staff clear of tight baseball seating along the third-base concourse.\nConference Matchups and Stakes\nThe bowl holds primary conference tie-ins pairing bowl-eligible programs from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and the American Athletic Conference (AAC).\n\n\nThe ACC Side: Typically features an upper-middle tier program looking to close out the year with a statement win against a Group of Five opponent.\n\n\nThe American Side: Often provides a top-tier AAC contender with an opportunity to measure itself against a Power Four opponent on a national stage.\n\n\nTeam selections will be formalized in early December following the conclusion of conference championship games.\nCommunity Impact\nBeyond the action on the field\, the Fenway Bowl integrates an off-field community initiative known as the “Honor Roll.” Through this program\, the bowl organization\, in conjunction with local educational partners\, recognizes exceptional public school educators and academic achievers across New England with game-day honors and classroom grants\, solidifying the contest as a holiday fixture for the city of Boston.\n\n \n\n\n \n\n Dates \n\n\n\n Date Range\n\n \n \n\n\n Day of Week\n\n\n Time of Day\n\n\n\n Clear Apply \n \n \n\n Performers \n\n\n\n Clear Apply \n \n \n\n Cities \n\n\n\n Clear Apply \n \n \n\n Venues \n\n\n\n Clear Apply \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n Load More
